THE EXHIBIT LIST
A matter, in order.
One window per matter: sidebar, exhibit table, inspector. Everything a filing needs is a column or a click away.
Smart lists and tags
Included in submission, Do not cite, Unnumbered, Needs OCR, Not translated — with counts. A tag filter narrows the list the way Zotero does; colour dots mark the tags in the table.
Search where you mean
Title only, all metadata, or the full OCR text of every document — chosen from the search field. Type an exhibit number in the list to jump to it.
Merge, split, detach
Merge exhibits that belong together (with an undo). Cut an imported PDF into separate exhibits with the scissors view. Detach a translation or a file into an exhibit of its own.
Types, languages, colours
Factual exhibits, witness statements, expert reports, correspondence, pleadings, awards, procedural orders — each with its own symbol and colour, each with its original language recorded and detected.
Picks up where you left
Each matter reopens at the last exhibit and page. Recent matters live in the Dock menu. Drop files on the Dock icon to import them into the open matter.
Print and protocol
Print the document list as shown or the previewed document. A protocol records every translation, AI summary and AI read in the matter — export it as CSV or print it for the file.
TWO WORLDS
Arbitration and court practice, in their own conventions.
The matter's jurisdiction decides the terms, the numbering and the citation style — Exhibit C-101 or Anlage K 1 — and hides what does not exist there.
- International arbitration. Claimant and Respondent series, CWS/CER codes, Jus Mundi-style award citations with case number, decision type and date.
- German and Swiss litigation. Anlage K 1 / Beilage 1, inline citations, the two-line Beweisantritt inserted from the menu.
- Arbitrator mode. Cite the parties' submissions by paragraph, never renumber their exhibits, and share the matter with your co-arbitrators.
- Six languages. The app in English, German, French, Spanish, Russian and Ukrainian; citation forms in English, German and French.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Your evidence stays where you are.
Local-first: matters live on your Mac or PC, or on an encrypted external drive. Nothing is uploaded unless you ask for it.
- Password-protect the app or a single matter; automatic matter backups; a real Trash.
- AI only on click, only to the provider you chose with your own key — or to nothing but your own machine with a local model. The protocol records every call.
- Only an anonymous licence check talks to our server. No usage tracking, no document ever leaves without your action.
- Your own LitArbi Server for teams: shared matters on the firm’s own web hosting — we install it, and nothing passes through us.
